UGME Career Counselling
As an MD student, you have many potential supports and resources available to you in your Career Exploration & Selection journey.
Topics most appropriate for Career Counsellors:
• Questions about what career options are available to you, and how to explore them
• Questions about how to decide between your many career options
• Using your clerkship stream selection to your best advantage
• Questions about preparing for your residency application process with a strong and competitive application
• How to select and make the most out of your electives
For questions surrounding electives (availability, requirements, booking, withdrawal) and diversification, please contact the electives office.
